Disaster Relief in Pike County

As many of you know, the recent flooding in Pike County has been severe, resulting in widespread losses: over 200 homes were damaged or washed away, many people were out of electricity and water, and two people were killed. Kentucky Baptists have been busy in Pike County with disaster relief. There are still some urgent needs in the area. Would you be able to locate and donate any of the items?

  • Good, clean furniture (couches, chairs, dinette sets, dressers, chests, end tables, beds, mattress sets-all sizes)
  • Lamps
  • Working appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, microwaves)
  • Small appliances (coffee pots, toasters, mixers, etc.)
  • New or like new pots and pans, sets of dishes, sets of glasses, flatware, and cooking utensils
  • New or like new linens (towels and sheets for all size beds - please fold sheets together as a set and use masking tape to keep them together, then write the size on the tape)
Please email us right away at church.cedarcreek@gmail.com if you can help. Thanks and Blessings.
